Abstract
Remittance as a major source of foreign income has become a lifeline for economic development in Nepal. Using secondary and nationally representative household survey data, we have measured the foreign remittance to Nepal, its impact on Nepal’s economic growth, uses and implications of remittance on low, medium and high remittance recipient households. We further analyze the role of remittance on GDP and PPP of Nepal, using a linear correlation and regression models. Our results indicate a highly positive correlation between remittance income and GDP and PPP growths in Nepal, contributing the overall economic development of the country. However, most part of the remittance income in Nepal is used in daily consumption and other nonproductive sectors. The use of remittance on non-productive sector is significantly highest in low-income group, medium in medium-income group and lowest in high-income group. The remittance income has significantly positive impacts on economic growth of Nepal and recipient households to improve their living standards.

Abstract
I examine the relation between angel investors and underpricing of IPO. Megginson and Weiss(1991) find negative relation between VC-backed IPO and underpricing proixed by initial return. This result suggests that VCs play a certification role between issuing firms and investors in IPO market. Consistent with the finding of Megginson and Weiss(1991), I also find significantly negative relation between angel-backed IPO and underpricing. This result indicates that market recognizes the importance of the presence of angel investors in small firms at early stage and angel investors play a substantial role in mitigating asymmetric information that exist between issuing firms and investors in IPO market.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the most important service quality factors for rural accommodations in rural tourism villages in South Korea by simultaneously utilizing Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Among the 18 items measuring the service quality of rural accommodations, 11 items fall in the first quadrant which indicates high performance and importance values. The seven remaining items were located in the third quadrant, meaning they were of less importance but also had a low performance. Management of rural accommodations in South Korea must make special efforts to maintain and improve service quality for the 11 high performance and importance value attributes. On the other hand, management might want to consider not focusing on and allocating resources to the 7 attributes located in the third quadrant.

Abstract
In 1978, Chinese reform and opening caused a big changes in Chinese economy. Despite these, China gave up part of its state ownership and group ownership system, permitted the private ownership system, and also opened the way for capitalists to take part in its economy again. Because the top priority and aim of China’s reform was economic growth, the protection of labor rights and interests was pushed back on the policy priority list. China takes foreign capitals and using its cheap labor force quickly and comes up with worldwide plants. China has the largest labor force in the world. China adopts a system of one arbitration, two trials’ as formal labor dispute resolution. When a labor dispute occurs, parties involved may go through three steps to seek a resolution: mediation, arbitration, and litigation. While mediation is completely voluntary, arbitration is mandatory, as a necessary step preceding litigation. Since Korea and China established diplomatic relations, the economic and technical interchange has been more frequent. The number of Korean companies which already entered China or are willing to enter are on the rise. Korean companies need to know the Chinese labor laws to settle labor disputes with Chinese more successfully. With this background, this study intends to present the situation and resolution system in Chinese labor disputes, and the stipulation and law of Chinese labor disputes, to suggest proper countermeasures related to labor disputes of Korean companies which entered China.
